Separately Excited

The TSX family of separately excited (also called shunt) DC motor controllers are fully programmable with half-H armature control and independent full-H field control enabling contactor-less reversing and motor performance optimization.

With current and thermal limiting of armature and field sections, current limited contactor I/O, and automotive quality AMPseal™ waterproof connectors, TSX separately excited motor controllers are fully protected. TSX separately excited motor controllers support hall effect, resistive and inductive throttles and are available in imperial and metric versions. TSX models have a CAN interface and can be used in various configurations for your application including single motor/controller; dual motor / dual controller or dual motor single controller applications all providing up to 98% battery efficiency.


The PC Probit II is an intuitive PC interface program which allows quick access to virtually all settings including current limits, maximum speeds in both forward and reverse, and battery over-discharge protection. Click on the software screen shot picture to view a larger version.
