The low speed vehicle market is an exciting new emerging market. More and more Golf Cars are being produced as electrics over noisy, polluting and expensive to fuel and maintain gas, versions. In the USA more States now permit LSV's on regular roads than don't. There are entire communities where the Neighborhood Electric Vehicle or NEV is the main source of transportation for the family. The sport and hunting markets have embraced the idea of Utility Terrain Vehicles in 2 and 4 wheel drive recreation vehicles. The instant torque of an electric motor is proving to be a very desirable performance characteristic. There is likely not one responsible community in the southern USA that does not incorporate work vehicles in it's fleet that are all electric.
